HOG HUNTING??????????????

Postby simpleman » Sat Feb 11, 2012 10:16 am

Does anyone out there know where a guy can go hunt some hogs within 8 hours of North West Arkansas? We have very few around here. I don't have big funds to pay for guided hunts. Looking for farmers who need some help controlling the heard.

Felsenthal is overrun with them. Don't know what the hog hunting regulations on the refuge are but they should be posted on either the refuge web site or the AGFC website.

Southeast Oklahomey is getting pretty thick with them, too...you might call some of the county game wardens in that area of the state? County Extension Agents from Oklahoma State University might also be a source...

I'm hoping in the next year or so, my land near the creek bottom will have a feeder and an elevated box blind with piggies and deer galore. All it's gonna take is time and some surplus money. :?

Dawg, Pray you don't get hogs on your land. They will eventually ruin everything.

I have about one acre that's all creek bottom and the rest of my land is or will be horse fenced and electrified. I may already have hogs and I'm sure that deer sneak through every once in a while. I just don't have any feeders to keep game around. All I get right now are rabbits,Squirrels, occasional visits from bobcat and constant coyotes.

Camp Patriot is coming to Texas for a hog hunt. I'm wondering if anyone might get hold of them and loan them a 450b?

Don't know what Camp Patriot is, but if any guys from minny are involved, send me a PM. I would gladly loan mine out. It rocks!
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
