Well ive been waiting for this site to come back up to post this for you. NEVER again will I shoot an animal this big and try to recover a bullet by shooting it more than once after it has been skinned.....it was a messy proposition. I had to boil and clean the bullet a few times to get the poop off of it. Now here is how this bullet performed. I shot this monster broadside through the aft edge of the shoulder blades. The bullet went through 4ft of brown bear crossing this beast and was in the hide on the far side. I shot the carcass the next day twice when I was done with the hide, head, paws. Both shots were pass throughs. One through the shoulders again and one through the softer parts. I recovered the shoulder bullet about six inches in the dirt on the far side. ill be posting pics in multiple posts
BEAR STATS
SQUARED AT 9FT 6 IN
WEIGHT 1300 LBS +/- 100
B&C SCORE OF 27 1/4IN
