European deer, mouflon and chamois

Two splendid trophies hired at 500 yards.

The deer with a Winchester M70 pre 64 in 300 WBY, rebarrel Krieger, charge 83 gn of N170 and A-Max 208 (3051 fps).

The mouflon was break with a Blaser R93 in 300 WSM with charge 70 gn of N160 and SST 165 (3000 fps).

The female chamois break with the Winchester at 250 yards

Nice. That chamois and mouflon are really beautiful! I love my 300 wsm. I load it down to 308 for deer here in GA and go full speed for moose, elk when I get the chance.

I would love to hunt the moose and the bear.
I also have a Pedersoli Brutus cal. 50 and I hunted two mouflons, a wonderful experience with the muzzle loading !!!

how is that 208 amax acting on impact? does the exit wound show lots of expansion, "normal" mushroom type expansion, or no expansion at all?

The bullet hit the neck and destroyed the vertebrae.
In the deer, however, it was struck behind the shoulder, damaged the lungs, liver and destroyed inside
