That's good to see, I just recently bought a 450 upper from BCA. I couldn't build one cheaper. Hopefully mine will work out as well as yours.

My luck wasn't that good, I ordered a 450 complete upper with a 16" barrel. I'm not sure what caliber the bcg was supposed to be for, but definitely not 450. I don't think the barrel was correct either.
I sent them an email and they responded with a return label.
So, Now I wait.

I’ve never bought a complete BC upper, but have used two of their 450 barrels in builds. Used 18” and 16”, and both were extremely accurate and properly gassed. 18” barrel only gave me 20 FPS over the 16”, so I kept the 16”.

I am still tickled with my BCA upper -- a side charger with 18-inch barrel. Has fed fine so far, and the accuracy was a pleasant shock.

Hopefully they will have it right, when they send it back.
All I can do is wait. When it comes back and it still has issues, I'll order a different barrel / bcg and replace both.
Probably should have just done that, but I wanted them to have a chance to fix the issue.
But, good to hear you guys are not having issues with bca barrels.

once you got a label they're usually pretty quick on the turnaround.

last year or maybe even earlier - they moved facilities so warrantyh stuff took a bit longer than normal. but they seem to be back up to speed in the new building :)

I checked the tracking number this morning, apparently it was delivered to BCA yesterday.
Now I wait for the return. I ordered a faxon bcg, so if they send the wrong bolt again, I'll have the correct bcg.
I think if they test fired the uppers prior to sending them out, it would solve a lot of issues. That's just my 2 cents.

I wonder if they are going to offer their .450 barrels hammer forged. They sure are making a big deal out of it with lesser calibers.
