Powder Coated 230gr Soft Ball Loads

Postby Jorgescar69 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:35 pm

So who has had good results with the combination of the powder coated lead bullets and Little Gun or 4227?
Any help or information would be helpful.
Thanks

Just following up on these particular loads. they shot well. didn't jamb. other than me having to open up a gas port for more reliability, all went well.

Just a Missouri bullet company powder coated 18brn lead 230 "softball " slug over 40g of Lilgun CCI milspec primer.
No jams. Leading was minimal on the com ports.
We had a Walmart Simmons glass on it that failed. With no other sights we just ran 75 rounds of them before we noticed we had a scope falling apart.
Moving on to the next slug.
255g LSWC KEITH STYLE from Missouri bullet company. They function fine with 37.5g of Lilgun.
No test for accuracy yet. Just ringing steel at 50 to 100 yards in the desert.
