Windham knows the 450B. That’s the same factory where they were first produced. Same factory. Same people. Just a different name. Leave it to Freedom Group to screw up the good name of Bushmaster.

10/4 on the New bushmaster.. im not impressed with them.
I also ordered an A2 stock from windam and installed that during the extractor issue. Think that helped as well. Living here in Maine I have Trident and Windam right handy so if I do have a question on the platform can actually talk to a guy face to face.
Both very good shops with excellent smiths.

Just occurred to me to post some pics of what I found as far as differences between the 2 extractors.
When I get back to my shop will post pics. Im thinking the bushmaster extractor was hitting on the barrel extension.

Sorry about not up loading the pic of the 2 extractors. The bushmaster on the left, has a noticeable hump on the top front.
The windam extractor doesn't. thinking that the bushmaster actually hits on the barrel nut because of the humps.
Am having issues uploading photo.

Also, the slot that grabs the rim of the cartridge on the windam weaponry exyractor is wider than the "new" bushmaster extractor. My 450 Bushmaster will not cycle with the bushmaster installed reliably.

Better pic. Bushy on left (junk)

I need to resize on my laptop or tablet.
This s10 doesn't do well with pics.

Texas Sheepdawg has a very good point with the carbine versus midlength gas port changing the timing. Mine is carbine length, 20" barrel..
