Is any one useing DIT's single or double stage in their 450 bushmaster? Any experiences good or bad? Any preferences brand wise?

IMHO, the RRA NM Varmint is a great 2-stage trigger for less than half the price. $89.99 No, its not a drop-in but installing it is not rocket science either. All my lowers wear them. The take-up is positive and then it breaks with a little more effort. Total pull for the 2 stages adds up to 3.5 lb. Feels lighter in use.

Triggers are like optics or any number of other add-ons for rifles. Everyone has their favorites. The non-Varmint version is equally as good but 4.5 total lb. For the same price, take the Varmint version.

I'm a RRA two stage guy too, but have a couple CMC's in the AR10's that are nice. Buddy swears by the Rise Armament's and they are crisp.

For a 2 stage trigger it is hard to beat the Larue MBT-2, especially for the buck.

ive got a couple timney single stage 4½ lb and a rise single 4½ lb...



just not a fan of two stage triggers. they feel wonky to me. i just like a nice clean break, but as noted above - triggers are a personal preference thing.

How about curved or flat?

For me, I prefer Geissele triggers, specifically the Dynamics (flat bows). Run them in all my AR's. I preferred two stage, especially for hunting. However, a couple years ago I picked up a Dynamic 3 Gun, and started becoming partial to it. Then last year (I think), Geissele released the Precision, a true single stage, which I really liked. Haven't been able to shoot since the whole Rona thing, so don't know which one I like better. I will most likely be swapping a couple of the 2 stage triggers for either the Dynamic 3 Gun or Dynamic Precision.

I am running several Velocity triggers 3 lb. For the money they are amazing

I'm no expert on triggers...I have 3 lowers with single stage triggers, have never shot a 2 stage trigger.. I have a Rise Armament RA-140 curved(6.5 Grendel) and a RA-434 flat both 3.5lb pull. I like the flat 434 a little better but nothing wrong with the cheaper 140 trigger. I use the lower with the 434 for my 450 BM rifle I also have a slip on butt pad on the adjustable stock. I recently bought a CMC ( competetion) trigger that is 2.5 lbs and flat, it seems to be a fine trigger but 2.5 lbs is lighter pull than I am used to... sighting the new Grendel rifle in and shooting it a few other times it seemed to be a good trigger.
