This has been a work in progress for about 6 months but Sunday I finally had the time to giterdun. The barrel started out as an original 20" Bushmaster that I cut down to 16" and threaded (the hard way) for the 11/16"x24 TPI flash hider. Aero stripped upper. A2 FSB that is attached with #8x32 set screws. Triangle handguard cap attached to FSB with #10x32 screw. Carbine length gas with AGB as the barrel has a .093" port. I opened up the ejection port with a (ahem) "rotary tool" and it turned out great, all you need is a steady hand.

Was a long day, the Guiness hit the spot:

Oops, almost forgot the sling swivel:

The lower will be next, already have the striped Aero, A2 stock assembly and LPK. Just need to find another empty day.

ETA: Barrel size 16" now.

Yep. Forgot that tidbit. Want to stay out of "stamp" territory.

Finally built up the lower to complete my A2 mock Dissy. Loading up some fodder right now and hope to get to the range before deer season.

You just need the M-7 on the end of it. Great for greeting door to door sales people. ;)

Looks just like the 7.62x39 unit next to my bed. Image
