Just checking if anyone has had any experience with this round ?
Or the Federal 300gr Power Shok 450 BM ?

May be a good Black bear option ?

Let me know where you can find this 300 grain Federal fusion ammo for sale. I would love to try it. The fusion bullets are really good in other cartridges. But I can't find any of this ammo for sale on the internet anywhere.

Don’t buy too many boxes till you try them in your rifle to see if they cycle properly. My American won’t cycle anything reliably accept for FTX bullets. The “pistol” type bullets jam on the rear of the chamber. I can’t get them to feed properly and I just keep working the bolt back-and-forth two or three times and eventually the ammo will chamber. I believe it’s a pretty common issue if you watch some YouTube videos with guys trying to use this federal ammo. I believe most production bolt guns were designed to cycle the pointy FTX ammo as it was the only ammo that was available at the time So manufactures design their actions around that bullet. I’m sure you could get a gunsmith to chamfer you gun to help feed this ammo.
