RAR 16" reciever slipping in v-block

Hello all, New to the forum and looking for advice. The problem i am having with my RAR 16" is the reciever is slipping in the v-block. There is .015 free play in these v-block to reciever arrangements and even with the takedown bolts torqed to 50inch pounds the reciever slips slamming the safety tang into the stock sending a massive shockwave back thru the optics causing scope mount slippage. I put this rifle into a stockys LRT stock and the safety tang is actually puckering the wood. Any advice would be appreciated. A little more info is that the aluminum bedding block in the LRT is only providing about 50% surface contact between the v-blocks. Would it be wise to try a little marinetex on these surfaces and in the .015 end play or would the miniscule amount not be suficient?

I can't hurt to bed the action into the V blocks.

I'd be talking to Stocky's.
That stock is usually highly regarded. Forgive my ignorance about 450b bolt action types but doesn't the RAR have a recoil lug and doesn't the Accublock accommodate one? If Yes to both, bed the recoil lug alone before bedding the entire action, to see if that helps.

Well ruger machines a .030-.040 recess in the v-blocks intesd of a recoil lug and in these recesses lies the .015 free play.

I have been in contact with keystone they make the stock and were not aware of the issue and they gave me permission to try bedding the v-blocks. Im not sure that such a thin amount will be effective.

Wow! I would not have imagined that they would omit a real recoil lug for a powerful caliber like the 450b. I don't imagine that it increased their profit margin that much.

Probably why the RAR in 450BM is so harsh on optics. The plastic stock supplied would never show signs of this happening and probably would be even more harsh. I wiil try to post a pic of what took place after 4 rounds of factory ammo.

That has happen to the Ruger 77 Hawkeyes with a laminated stocks in 375 and 416 Ruger's....sometimes only after a couple rounds....
I've also seen that happen to rifles after being shot in a Lead Sled with 2-25lb shot bags....Lead Sleds are hard on scopes and stocks....
