ya 1680 is totally the wrong powder for 200gr bullets in this caliber.


i mean.. it'll go bang, and move a bullet... but yea... less than ideal. save that for the heavy for caliber stuff (>275gr)

Thanks guys. The crimp is my thinking because of the burn rate. I agree

Lil gun is a NO. Been there dont do that. ;)

QL is also notoriously INACCURATE with straight wall cases. Also my load is 38g, not 34. 35, would not even cycle my action properly!! Ask me how I know! ;). A few manuals list this load as above max. But the newest Western manual shows 41g as a max. Im NOT AT ALL wanting a magnum loading. Lighter loads did shoot accurately, it just would not function reliably.
