Horn. 250FTX Bullet Test

Postby allan » Wed Mar 28, 2012 7:04 am

Ran a test on the Hornady 250 gr. FTX bullet. Load was 35 gr. Enforcer at about 1950 FPS. I back up 40 yds. from the target. Shot into a dry 1 1/4 in. phone book, taped together. The bullet went thru the 1 1/4 book, thru 4 one gal. milk jugs filled with water, and into the 5th jug. The bullet opened up to 5/8 in. and still weighted 200 gr. First time on hogs- One shot, two 115 lb. hogs
