Well it just came out, so I’m assuming there hasn’t been enough time for someone to test it.

wow that was quick

usually when they release a new ammo, the withhold the projectile as a reloading component for ~ 1 year or so... or thats been their common stick for a while now anyway with multiple other offerings.

Those should prove to be second only to the Barnes 275gr in performance. Glad to see these even at 60cents apiece.

FINALLY!!

This is the bullet in the 450 american whitetail ammo. I've shot a box through my 450, but I haven't taken game yet. I am expecting it to do the job, as it's just another soft point.

I just spoke to a Hornady factory technician and while it's not bonded, the jacket and core are interlocked mechanically during the swaging process with an internal ring in the jacket locking the core into place. Not bonded but interlocked together.

I ordered a box from Midway nd got them loaded. I'm using the data from the Hornady loading book and starting with 35 grains working up to 38 by 1/2 grain increments. I know I could go higher than 38 because these are lighter bullets but I'm a conservative, cautious guy when it comes to handloading so I'll see how these shoot and look for the usual pressure signs. I'll get to the range next week and report on how they shoot and if there are any problems. Factory length and taper crimp.

Correct. They have the FTX, which is a regular cup and core bullet, Then the Interlock, which has the jacket lock the core in, but isn't bonded. Then the interbond, which is bonded.
