Yes it is a AR 16inch barrell.

Lyman’s MSR Die Sets are these small base size? Perhaps I should order a set.

Maybe My problem could have been from using brass that was a thousandth to short too. I watched a youtube video where a guy got the same bullet suck in his AR also.

IMHO, trim length isn't that close toleranced. I've successfully used brass varying in length from 1.690-1.700. Sometimes even shorter.

Reading the Lyman MSR die set description, it sure looks like they include a small base sizing die! Though there's little you can do about it in an AR platform, its nice all the same that they also come with a set of Go, No-Go headspace gauges. You can make a lot of friends having a set of those to loan/rent here.

i tried to send a link to the video with the 245 grain soft point getting stuck in chamber. I had this happen once.
