Trail Boss Data

Postby rob cullen » Sat Jan 18, 2020 7:16 am

Hello All
I have been having a play with GRT Gordons reloading tool software and learnt quite a lot about seating depth vs pressure and it explains why i had some tight bolt and trashed primers on a few hand load that i thought were safe on my 308 and now i have a fair idea why- in the scheme of things with reloading im probably a virgin thats had his first root compared to you guys.
Anyhow, there is no data for trail boss in GRT and im wondering if anyone may have any data as im just looking at theoretical sub loads for 450 with 300 XTP until i can find bigger projies in west oz.

I've never had a need to use it but wasn't the golden rule with Trailboss to fill to base of seated bullet with little to no compression??

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
