400gr cast subsonic results

Have been folowing the "heavy for caliber" and subsonic threads with great interest.

Shooting a Savage Axis rebarreled to 450 BM and just getting into casting. Using an Accurate mold to cast this 400gr bullet:

Velocity was just under 1k fps with an ES of 11 and a SD of 4. Group was a ragged hole that I'm having trouble posting.

No matter how much I crop pics this site is saying they are too big.

Attachments are pre-sized to something like a 400x400 window. If you host your image somewhere else and link it using the Img button, you can usually go up to around 1024x768. I resize mine before hosting them to 800x600. I have been having good experience (knock on wood) using postimage.org as my hosting site.

If you want to embed the actual image in your post instead of a thumbnail with link, use this choice instead:

The rifle was originally a 223 so I still need to try modifying the mag to see if it will feed.

I've seen some stuff on savageshooters so hopefully it isn't too involved.
