reloading for the 450B primer issues

Postby phoenix » Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:09 am

Hello All
I'm new to this site and am looking for advise on reloading for the 450 B. Current load is 37.9 grains of LilGun, with a WSR primer, hornady brass cleaned and trimmed. I am shooting a CVA Scout; which has a 25 " Bagara barrel. Shot yesterday and was noticing my primers were dimpled back, showing signs of pressure. Last years load was 38.1 grains of liLGUn and did not see any signs of pressure. Any one want to weigh in on this. I have Federal small rifle primers and REmington 71/2 as well.

I went with the Federal 205's and shot a very nice group , Remington's did not produce as tight a group as the Federal's. Has anyone used the Hornady 245 grain Interlock bullet yet on Whgitetails

you might also try a copper remover in the barrel.
