Midway has these on sale right now. About the best price I've seen them for in a long time. Even in Factory Seconds. Sorry if this was already posted elsewhere.

They still had the 250ftx earlier this week. I scored on the .452 250gr Hornady Monoflex blems. They were $33/100. I got 500 of them. Heck of a deal. I have been using blems for years with zero issues. Last time I got 250gr sst, $19/250, and same for 40cal 200gr sst. Bought a lifetime supply of those.

you ever run those monoflex's side x side with the FTX for accuracy?

No, just got them for first time. But have shot Barnes tmz and tez before, and both were fine. They are long like a 300gr sst, so will take up some case capacity. They may not be great in an AR with mag length limit. May get an Encore barrel made or Ruger Predator if need be. Even if they didnt shoot great, I got 2 smokeless mz's that would send them downrange.
