Primer dilema

Postby s4s4u » Fri Feb 05, 2021 9:38 am

So, my stock of small primers is dwindling and as we all know they are hard to come by. I have a plethora of large pistol, std and mag, as well as large rifle. Was thinking of getting some 284 brass and cutting it down so I can use large primers. Thoughts?

.284 brass are a PITA to prep. Worst part is either reaming or turning the neck region to account for the thicker brass due to cutting them down to length. Just my opinion having been there, tried that.

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
