Cast Bullet info

Postby lechwe » Sat Mar 20, 2021 7:29 am

OK, I'm seeing a lot of you are loading cast bullets. This is not 450 related but thought you could help. I picked up 1k .401 coated cast bullets to load for my 10mm. I've never loaded cast before but have loaded for 4 decades. Do I need to buy a sizing die and run these through first or am I good to go as is? These are Acme's and they say they are .401 already.

Thanks for the help

If they say they are sized to .401" and that is the size you want you should be good to go. I'd check a few with the caliper to confirm.
