How much crimp do you use?

I've seen alot of people suggest crimping to .475 or there abouts. However, for shits and giggles I measured factory "Black" ammo and it measured at .478 - .479. What do you guys crimp to?

Everyone has their own mantra but I crimp smooth sided bullets like the 250gr FTX down to .476
For bullets with either a cannelure or driving band grooves, I crimp down into them to .474-.475 It doesn't take much to cling to them. It does make a heck of a difference if you can catch one however.

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
