I used them. Sized them down to .452 using a lee cast lead bullet sizer. Use Imperial sizing wax. The Hornady was more accurate though. I used 30.5 grs of Lil'gun, WSR Primer. You can follow Hornady's recommendations for 300 grain bullets.

I was hoping someone had good results. They are a decent price.

Their OK, but not as good as Hornady.

These haven't been resized yet, but both are .458 300gr, Hornady on left and Remington on right, I resize and shoot them sabotless from one of my smokeless ML's..........................another addicition.
Must of been a little weak on the press that day, usually the noses come out pretty pointy.

I usually split a thousand with a couple of buds when they come on sale at Midway. But have picked them up at Cabela's, Precision, or different places off the net as needed.

Al in Mi-
Would you describe your set-up and the process for producing the nice pointy 300-grain .452 bullets?
(If you've already done this elsewhere, a link would be helpful.)
Many thanks.

I am going to hijack this to some degree ------- Question --- It appears that you have some sort of swaging tool -- such as Corbin -- to reshape the bullets?
What about taking these inexpensive 230 gr. RN bullets that are .4505 and bumping them up to .452?? Even adding a shallow taper crimp groove.

Bob, the idea came from a buddy on my smokeless sabotless ML side
Just took a 2" long bushing and honed it to bullet size, made up a nose punch and use a arbor press to do the forming.
I'll look for some pics.
Siringo, shouldn't be a problem bumping up, not sure how much the FMJ nose could be reformed thou.
