I E-mailed Buffalo Bore...

Postby Jeepejeep » Thu Nov 24, 2011 8:26 am

I asked if they are going to be making ammo for the Thumper. This is the response:
"We will bring out some good 450 loads, but it is going to be a year or two
before we can get to it. Thanks for asking.
Tim"
Should be interesting as they make some powerful loads for other calibers. Hope they get around to it quicker!

Any extra ammo manufacturer is a good thing for the cartridge, the more readily available and varied the ammo, the more it will be seen as a "legitimate" choice to the average shooter. I think some people are a little hesitant to get into a round that isn't as common as some of the typical hunting rounds.

Let's hope they get to it sooner than they thought.

WAY-TO-GO, JEEPERS..

Colohunter is correct, more is indeed merrier. As far as available goes, check out my new post in "ammo availability" area (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=626&start=170)..

If you guys keep asking, the manufactures will respond and Buffalo Bore would be a good one AND Star-Line needs some prompting and you guys have the power to get them off the dime, give them a call (800-280-6660 or 660-827-6640).

I emailed both, again, and I'm going to call them Monday morning to add some extra "encouragement".
