I’m trying to determine the correct coal for a load using the Barnes 250gr ttsx using 37 to 38 grains of lil gun. Can someone help? Md

Keep in mind that all my work was based upon an AR platform. With grooved bullets, I typically seat to 2.26 COL (overall is one word) and then seat deeper enough to get the nearest groove to line up with the mouth. That way, I could taper crimp down into the groove. Really helped keep bullets from pulling, due to momentum when chambering. Same applies to bullets with cannelures.
