Posted with Permission of the LeGendre Family.
It is with deep sorrow we must make the announcement that Timothy LeGendre passed away on August 27, 2019.
His funeral was on Sept 3rd.
His wife Debi contacted me and advised of his passing and asked that I
Pass this sad news on to his friends and fellow gun cranks.
Timothy (wildcatter) had 2 very rare Neuro diseases. 1. Corticalbasal degeneration
2. Progressive Supra-nuclear Palsy.
He suffered a long time.
Debi said
“ I know most people didn’t know what a great man he was. He was so kind, he was always so happy. He loved life, he loved everyone and he loved his work/job. It’s so sad going through his shop and ballistic lab. It’s just represents a very amazing man. He always thought outside the box. He is so missed by us all...”

Do not go gentle into this good night.

It's hard to say more but Tim's love of firearms experimentation will live on. He once told me, "Hoot, I've blown up more guns than most people own!" I wish I had taken him up on his invitation to come visit him in Michigan.
In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.

I"ve been to his place a couple times few years back looking for advice on a 50 x 1.8 round based off a 300 RUM case and to run in a AR10, boy did that touched off a case of sparklers in his eyes. :o

Gonna miss him for sure.

I realized we haven't heard from him for quite some time, hoped he was just busy. Guess not. Never met him, but he seemed like a nice enough guy on the forum.
Condolences to his family.
