I got some new 240 grain JHC Buffalo Brand bullets yesterday. At the range today they shot nicely but hit 1 inch higher at 100 yards than the Hornady 250 FTXs that I sighted in with. I did fire a 3 shot group with the 250 FTX to confirm. I was going to sit in my SW stand but drove past it and went to my "Island" stand, the water has dropped and it is mostly dry on west and east sides now. This is a "Bow" stand and has no shooting rail, so its all free hand shots..no problem since most shot opportunities are less than 25 yards. There was a very light NNW wind, perfect for this stand.. Had 6 Osceola gobblers feed by then 7 hens fed west to east, the sun set and right before last light I see 6-8 hogs coming right to me. The first 2 that came in were nice sows so I shot one, she hit the ground and the rest ran west, I saw a hog head and shoulder at 50-60 yards, I was able to get it lined up and went for a head shot..at the shot the hog hit the dirt. I looked down and the first hog was gone?? She had got up as I was looking west for another hog, but she only made it 25-30 yards leaving a heavy blood trail
