I saw that too...

On reloading I reloaded a couple by pulling factory, running case thru a M die then replacing powder with 1680 and a 158 xtp bullet. I fired them yesterday. They chambered slick as can be fired normally and fell into a 1/2" 50 yard group.

I also tore a cartridge down:

First range trip yesterday, Zeroed in a few shots, shot 20 rnds including 5 of my hand loads. The 147 fMJ shot about 3/4" @ 50 yards and reliably smacked 4" targets out @ 250 yards.

Little recoil & with my linear Comp, blast was gone and report subdued.

I am excited to reload this and develop loads. Ill load these 20 and shoot again this weekend.

Well I was searching dies... I found the Lee offered a stand alone sizer die!!! GREAT! As Im not a fan this limits my out lay and its all I really need anyhow. But nope. Its catalogues but comes up available soon. I found Titan reloading had the complete die set shipped for less than direct from Lee so I grabbed that. Hope it works I have bought four Lee die sets in my 40 years reloading ... THREE have failed.

I should have them soon.

I picked up 2 boxes of the 180s Friday. Hope to try them out tomorrow. They were 20.95$ a box so I’ll give em a try.

Can you pull one and measure the bullet diameter?

I don’t have a way to pull one. I measured about half the box and they were all .354 just above the case mouth. Seems odd as I thought the hunting ammo would measure larger than the FMJ. It’s all .355 above the case mouth.
I really don’t care what any of them measure as long as they shoot good. I’ve seen two reports where someone has contacted the Ohio DNR as well as Michigan DNR and both said were told the 350 Legend is approved.
I’ll roll with that until I find a determination otherwise.

Yes, it is GTG here in Michigan.

Must be 35 cal or larger, straight wall, with minimum case length of 1.16” and max of 1.8”

Yup that was the big debacle. I guess Michigan says 35 cal 9mm is 35 cal too... But Ohio says specifically .357 or larger. STUPID, on Winchesters part. IMHO they where trying to ride on the upsurge in 9mm popularity and missed the 357 part... By and large this younger generation cuts corners to try to be more than they are and this is case n point. Again MHO.

Now they repeatedly say 357, but everything is 355 we here on the internet has checked. On the same avenue. I dont see amm makers re creating the wheel to use a .355 bbl when the same reamer chambering a 357 blank could produce better results.

On a secondary note, my dies are out for delivery! Hope they are a good set!

Winchester has made a big mistake again, why would they make the 350 Legend .355 " bore. There's no suitable bullets made to reload in .355" (9mm) unless you go to custom makers. Fury Bullets here in Michigan is the first with a 158 gr. and 180 gr.
Same mistake was made with the 348 Winchester they only made ammo-bullets and in one rifle. Over time a few more bullet makers jumped in but the 348" had a nail in it coffin from day one. Winchester 351 Self-Loader same thing only reason it stuck as long as it did was prison and law enforcement used them and keep it alive, long after it should have died.

There's no parent case for the 350 Legend, so it could have been made any size. It should have been made .357" or .358". Its already a rebated rim a couple thousand's large base is all that would be needed for a larger bullet. There would be enough taper for reliable extraction.

Mason is making reamer for 358" bore like it should have been
