Hello again. Thanks for your help with reload data for the 275gr TSX in the ruger ranch, I found out that I couldn't take it to Canada because the barrel was under 18 inches and traded it in on a ruger go wild American with a 22 inch barrel. Found out that I could get the same velocity, (2,200 fps) as with the ranch with 2 grains less powder, and so dropped back to 40 grains of h110 from the 42 grains I was loading (col 2.35). I have a similar question about a ruger #1 in 460 s&w with a 20 inch barrel. I am loading the Barnes 275 TSX in this gun with a col of 2.46 and 38 grains of h110 for a velocity of 2,140 fps which is a published max. It is my understanding that 460 loads are reduced somewhat in the reloading manuals to allow for ease of extracting six cases from the S&W revolver. I would like to go up to 40 grains of h110 in this gun to duplicate my 450 Bushmaster performance if that is safe, but have no way of determining that. I know this is a bushmaster forum, but would appreciate any guidance you could give. Thanks
