magazine problems

That ramp in the front of the magazine just may help to guide bullets across the "void" into the chamber. Worth a try after the hunt.

You would probably just need a single centered ramp. That AR10 mag stacked them side by side. Spreading the feed lips some will allow the round to sit higher, might take a combination of both for those wide flat noses.

Haven't tried any of the suggested mods yet, been side tracked by a Smith and Wesson M&P pistol I'm working up loads for. Hog hunt was a bust., Saw plenty of tracks around the 10 feeder stations we checked but no hogs. Saw 8 deer, 6 turkeys, a covey of quail and four bunnies but NO HOGS. :D
